The XI International Competition “Best Young Metrologist of COOMET 2025” was held from November 11 to 13, 2025, at the Uzbek National Institute for Metrology (UzNIM) under the Agency for Technical Regulation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
Fourteen young specialists from metrology institutes and other organizations of the COOMET Member Countries working in the field of metrology participated in the competition.
The COOMET President Lazizbek Saidoripov opened the competition.
The Scientific Committee included 11 representatives from national standardization and metrology bodies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan, namely:

The Scientific Committee, chaired by the COOMET President, judged the submission papers of the contenders according to five criteria: relevance and scientific novelty, practical value, implementation of results, and quality of design and presentation.
