The 19th meeting of TC 1.4 «Flow Measurement» was held on December 15, 2022 online. TC 1.4 members from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the meeting.

The results of TC 1.4 activities in 2022 and cooperation plans for 2023 were presented at the meeting.

The implementation of the current COOMET projects within TC 1.4 and the activities of TC 1.4 on the implementation of the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement were discussed at the meeting.

The representative of the NMI from Uzbekistan (that has earlier classified itself as CEEMS) expressed interest in participating in supplementary comparisons in the field of gas and liquid flow.

The COOMET Secretariat informed the TC members about the creation of a COOMET training resource on the BIPM e-learning platform. The meeting participants discussed possible proposals for creating a training course for this platform on the topic «Flow Measurement».  

As part of the implementation of decisions of the 18^th TC 1.4 meeting regarding the development of standard calibration procedures, a draft COOMET recommendation «Flow transmitters, flow meters and volume and mass liquid meters. Calibration procedure» was presented, the discussion of which will continue in 2023.

Regarding the implementation of the CIPM MRA, there was also a discussion of the procedure for intraregional and interregional review of CMCs within TC 1.4 and update of the list of technical experts on CMC review.

The next TС 1.4 meeting is scheduled for spring 2023.
