17th meeting of TC 1.1 "General Questions Concerning Measurements"
On October 24, 2023 the 17th meeting of TC 1.1 "General Questions Concerning Measurements" was held in hybrid format.
The meeting was attended by TC 1.1 members from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the following topics were discussed: Report on TC 1.1 activity in 2022-2023, work execution, clarification of the schedule of COOMET publications updating for 2023-2024 in the field of responsibility of TC 1.1.
17.10.2022: 16th meeting of TC 1.1 "General issues of measurements (General metrology)"
The 16th meeting of TC 1.1 "General issues of measurements (General metrology)" was held on October 17, 2022 online using the Zoom platform.
The meeting was attended by representatives of 6 COOMET countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan - members of the TC 1.1 and their representatives, as well as the Head of the COOMET Secretariat.
During the meeting, following issues were considered:
- activities of the TC 1.1 in 2021-2022, including analysis of the decisions of the previous meeting and discussion of progress of work on COOMET projects;
- discussion and specification of the schedule for updating COOMET publications for 2022-2024. in the TC 1.1 area of responsibility;
- issues of digitalization relevant to the field of General Metrology (taking into account the draft COOMET Concept For The Issues Of Digital Transformation In Metrology (project 825/RU-a/21);
- discussion of prospects for cooperation and formation of the TC 1.1 Work Program;
- capabilities of the BIPM e-learning platform and developing of the COOMET courses.
The next TC 1.1 meeting will take place in October 2023.
15th online meeting of TC 1.1 COOMET (15.10.2021)
The 15th online meeting of TC 1.1 "General Questions Concerning Measurements (General Metrology)" was held on 15 October 2021 online using the Zoom platform. Representatives of 6 COOMET member countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) took part in the meeting – TC 1.1 members and their representatives, as well as the Head of the COOMET Secretariat.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- TC 1.1 activities in 2020-2021, including analysis of resolutions of the previous meeting and discussion of the progress on COOMET projects;
- information about resolutions of the COOMET Committee and Presidential Council (in terms of amendments to the COOMET Rules of Procedure, Document COOMET D5/2021 etc);
- discussion and refinement of the schedule of updates of COOMET publications for 2021-2024 within the area of responsibility of TC 1.1;
- discussion of the issues of digitalization, relevant for the field of "General Metrology" (in view of project 825/BY/21 "Development of a COOMET concept for digitalization in metrology");
- preparation of a prospective work program of TC 1.1, aimed at the implementation of the strategic tasks and mission of COOMET and modern tasks of metrology, and implementation of events under the COOMET Development Program.
The next TC 1.1 meeting will take place in October 2022.
