14th online meeting of TC 1.1 "General Metrology" was held on 5 October 2020. Representatives of 6 COOMET countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) took part in the meeting. The progress in implementation of the current projects within TC 1.1 and other issues, provided for in the agenda (update of the Regulations for the TC, development of the prospective work program of TC 1.1 and implementation of activities under the COOMET Development Program for 2020-2022 within the TC) were discussed.

The main adopted decisions:

1. To continue work on project 693/UA-a/16 "Development of the Recommendations on the justification of the measurement model (measurement equation)" in view of BIPM JCGM 103 CD;
2. To adopt in general a draft COOMET Recommendation on the expression of expanded measurement uncertainty (kurtosis method), prepared under COOMET project 796/UA/19; the final version of the Recommendation, taking into account the comments of TC 1.1 members, will be submitted for approval at the COOMET Committee meeting;
3. To adopt in general a version of COOMET Recommendation CООМЕТ R/GM/19:2016 "Guideline on COOMET supplementary comparison evaluation"(the situation of data processing for bilateral comparisons is highlighted), updated under the ongoing COOMET project 302/RU-a/04; the final version of the Recommendation, taking into account the comments of TC 1.1 members, will be submitted for approval at the COOMET Committee meeting;
4. To continue work on the translations of CIPM MRA documents of P and G series under project 794/RU/19 "Translation and adaptation of a suite of new versions of CIPM MRA documents and also a CIPM document "Recommendations from the Working Group on the Implementation and Operation of the CIPM MRA";
5. To adopt a draft COOMET information material on carrying out distant comparisons and calibrations of NMIs measurement standards; when the material is prepared according to the requirements of COOMET document D4/2014, it will also be submitted for approval of COOMET Committee; 
6. To update a number of COOMET publications (CООМЕТ R/GM/7:2014, CООМЕТ R/GM/11:2017, CООМЕТ R/GM/14:2016, CООМЕТ R/GM/12:2015, CООМЕТ R/GM/19:2016, CООМЕТ R/GM/23:2014) in years 2020-2011.

The next COOMET TC 1.1 meeting is scheduled for October-November 2021.
