The 16th meeting of TC 1.1 "General issues of measurements (General metrology)" was held on October 17, 2022 online using the Zoom platform.

The meeting was attended by representatives of  6 COOMET countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan - members of the TC 1.1 and their representatives, as well as the Head of the COOMET Secretariat.

During the meeting, following issues were considered:

• activities of the TC 1.1 in 2021-2022, including analysis of the decisions of the previous meeting and discussion of progress of work on COOMET projects;
• discussion and specification of the schedule for updating COOMET publications for 2022-2024. in the TC 1.1 area of ​​responsibility;
• issues of digitalization relevant to the field of General Metrology (taking into account the draft COOMET Concept For The Issues Of Digital Transformation In Metrology (project 825/RU-a/21);
• discussion of prospects for cooperation and formation of the TC 1.1 Work Program;
• capabilities of the BIPM e-learning platform and developing of the COOMET courses.
