18.11.2021: 31st meeting of TC 3.1 "Quality Forum Technical Committee" and 25th meeting of the COOMET Quality Forum

The 31st meeting of TC 3.1 "Quality Forum Technical Committee" and 25th meeting of the COOMET Quality Forum took place on 18 November 2021 online.

10 representatives of NMIs/DIs of COOMET member countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) took part in the TC 3.1 meeting.

During the meeting the outcomes of the peer reviews of the QMS of BelGIM (Belarus), NSC "Institute of Metrology" and Ukrmetrteststandart (Ukraine), conducted in a hybrid format, were considered. Earlier e-voting was held based on the results of the peer reviews, whereby TC 3.1 members unanimously decided on recognizing the QMS of the above NMIs and issuing COOMET Confirmations of Recognition for 5 years:

  • in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 for NSC "Institute of Metrology" (Ukraine);
  • in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 for BelGIM (Belarus) and Ukrmetrteststandart (Ukraine).


The issues of organization of a peer review of the QMS of GP "NDI "Systema" (Ukraine) in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 were discussed. Tatiana Kolomiets (BelGIM, Belarus) was appointed auditor for that peer review.

Representatives of NMIs/DIs from 12 COOMET member countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) took part in the Quality Forum meeting.

At the meeting an oral presentation of the QMS of GP "NDI "Systema" (Ukraine) was given – it was delivered by the Deputy Director Vasiliy Parakuda. After the presentation the QF participants asked their questions. Based on the discussion of the delivered presentation, the QF members having the right to vote from each COOMET member country voted and expressed support to the QMS of the above institute.

Final decision of the COOMET Quality Forum: to admit GP "NDI "Systema" (Ukraine) to a peer review.

The next TC 3.1 and QF meeting is scheduled for early March 2022 and will be held online.
