The 20th meeting of COOMET TC 1.4 «Flow Measurement» was held on 20 April 2023 online. 7 COOMET member countries took part in the meeting (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Russia, Uzbekistan).

The progress with the supplementary comparisons of national measurement standards in the field of liquid flow and mass in the flow range from 0.1 to 45 t/h under COOMET project 760/RU-a/18 (COOMET.M.FF-S10) was considered at the meeting.

TC 1.4 members also discussed preparations for the comparisons under COOMET project 852/RU/21 "Supplementary comparisons of national standards in the field of gas flow and volume at gas flow rate from 0.4 to 100 m3/h". Participation of the measurement standards of BelGIM (Belarus), VNIIM (Russia), KazStandard (Kazakhstan) and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) in the comparisons is planned.

The meeting participants endorsed the draft COOMET recommendation "Flow transmitters, flow meters and volume and mass liquid meters. Calibration procedure", elaborated according to the proposals of TC 1.4 members.

The next TС 1.4 meeting is scheduled for August 2023.
