27 to 29 September the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) organized for the first time a forum for Secretariats of Regional Metrology Organizations "BIPM/RMO forum: "Support to Secretariats of Regional Metrology Organizations". 

All RMOs of the world took part in the forum: AFRIMET, GULFMET, EUROMET, APMP, SIM and COOMET. 

The purpose of the forum was to familiarize RMO secretariats with the main documents of the CIPM MRA agreement, guidelines on key comparisons, publication of SMSs and the KCDB portal. 

The Forum provided an opportunity for secretariats to discuss topical issues on working with metrological institutes and to exchange experience on secretariat work.
