The 14th meeting of TC 1.11 "Time and Frequency" was held online on 29 November 2021. Specialists from 9 COOMET member countries took part in the meeting.

During the meeting the results of TC 1.11 activities in 2021 and development plans for 2022 were discussed.

A detailed discussion of the progress in implementing the COOMET comparisons under projects COOMET 398/RU-а/07 "Key comparisons of national standards of time and frequency with the Russian UTC (SU) scale" (CCTF-K001.UTC)  and  605/RU/13 "Comparison of time scales of NTP-servers via INTERNET" took place, as well as of redefinition of the time unit of the International System of Units SI.

The process of intraregional and interregional review of CMC entries in the field of time and frequency under the implementation of the CIPM MRA and update of the list of technical experts on CMC review and peer review of the QMS of COOMET NMIs/DIs in the area of responsibility of TC 1.11 were discussed.

The participants of the meeting also considered the need for developing model calibration procedures (in view of item 78 "Drawing up and implementation of a Plan for the preparation of COOMET Recommendations, having requirements for calibration of various groups of measuring instruments" of the COOMET Development Program for 2020-2022) and update of COOMET publications, previously developed within TC 1.11.

Representatives of each country gave short presentations about the current state of metrological activities in the field of measuring time and frequency in COOMET member countries.

The next TC 1.11 meeting is scheduled for October 2022.
