21.07.2022: 32nd meeting of TC 3.1 "Quality Forum Technical Committee" and 26th meeting of the COOMET Quality Forum

The 32nd meeting of TC 3.1 "Quality Forum Technical Committee" and 26th meeting of the COOMET Quality Forum took place on 21 July 2022 online.

 

11 representatives of NMIs/DIs of COOMET member countries (Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Germany, Georgia, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajilistan, Uzbekistan) took part in the TC 3.1 meeting.

During the meeting the following issues were considered:

  • results of NMIs/NIs annual reports for 2021;
  • written presentation of the QMS KazStandard (Kazakhstan) according to ISO 17034;
  • written presentation of QMS UzNIM (Uzbekistan) on ISO/IEC 17025.

It was decided that RSE “KazStandart” (Kazakhstan) and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) should be allowed to make QMS oral presentations at the Quality Forum.

 

11 representatives of NMIs/DIs of COOMET member countries (Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Germany, Georgia, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajilistan, Uzbekistan) took part in the QF meeting.

At the Quality Forum meeting the oral presentations of the QMS KazStandard (Kazakhstan) and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) were given. After the presentations the QF participants asked their questions and had a lively discussion. Based on the discussion of the delivered presentations, the COOMET Quality Forum expressed support to the QMS KazStandard (Kazakhstan) on ISO 17034 and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) on ISO/IEC 17025.

The QF members having the right to vote from each COOMET member country voted and expressed support to the QMS KazStandard (Kazakhstan) on ISO 17034 and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) on ISO/IEC 17025.

Final decision of the COOMET Quality Forum: to admit KazStandard (Kazakhstan) and UzNIM (Uzbekistan) to a peer review.

Also at the Quality Forum meeting the decisions adopted at the TC 3.1 meeting were announced.

 

The next TC 3.1 and QF meeting is scheduled in November 2022 in hybrid format.
