A COOMET webinar for the discussion of possible fields of joint scientific research was held on 23 September 2020 on Zoom platform. COOMET Committee members, Heads and experts of national metrology institutes from 15 countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine), as well as EURAMET representatives took part in the event. The total number of participants exceeded 90.

The seminar has become the first event, provided for in the COOMET Development Program for 2020-2022, aimed at the implementation of the strategic task F "Organization of innovative scientific research in the field of metrology".
