30th JCRB meeting and workshop “Best practices in CMC reviews”

17th meeting of COOMET President's Council took place on 14 - 15 of November 2012 in Lviv, Ukraine

The meeting was organized by the State Enterprise "Scientific-Research Institute for Metrology of Measurement and Control Systems".

On 16th – 17th of October 2012 the 9th meeting of COOMET TC 4 "Information and training" took place in BelGIM (Minsk, Belarus)

The representative of almost all COOMET member states took part in this event.

47th meeting of International Committee on legal metrology (CIML) and 14th Conference of International Organization on legal metrology (OIML)

On the 1st – 5th October 2012 in Bucharest (Romania) the 47th meeting of International Committee on legal metrology (CIML) and 14th Conference of International Organization on legal metrology (OIML) were held. Representatives of 51 countries took part in these events.

On September 25 - 26 2012 the 29th meeting of Joint Committee of BIPM and Regional metrological organizations (JCRB) took place in NIST (Gaithersburg, USA).

New Executive Secretary of JCRB

The COOMET representative, Mr. Chingis Kuanbayev will take over as JCRB Executive Secretary from 3 December 2012.

In June 2012 the President of COOMET, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Krutikov, was elected as new member of International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM).
