On 19 September 2023 the 35^th COOMET Committee meeting took place, where COOMET Committee members or their official representatives from 13 countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan) participated. The meeting was held in online format.

During the meeting the issues of early resignation of COOMET President Valery Hurevich and assumption of office of the President-Elect G. Mukhambetov, appointment of the Head of COOMET Secretariat and new composition of the President's Council were discussed.
