22^nd meeting of COOMET Presidential Council was held on
29–30 November 2017 in the Physikalish-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, Germany.

The participants included Acting President V. Krutikov, Elected President V. Gurevich, Vice-presidents P. Ulbig and P. Neezhmakov, representative of Secretariat and technical experts.

During the meeting were considered the working results of COOMET Technical Committees for the last year, participation of COOMET representative in work of International Organization, and upcoming events.

Due to the changes of Presidential Council composition, was approved candidature of N. Mikanadze (Georgia) to the position on Vice-President, responsible for quality management system.

Moreover there was approved the presented version of Memorandum of understanding between COOMET and EURAMET which was recommended for signing on forthcoming COOMET Committee meeting, COOMET Program of comparisons for 2018 was approved.

According to the results it was decided to organize OIML – COOMET seminar on prepackage goods in Moscow (Russia) in 2018, and also to organize VIII International Competition “The best young metrologist of COOMET – 2019” in Russia.

Next 23th meeting of COOMET Presidential Council will be held in November, 2018 in Belarus
